Brand Visuals for a Dentist

Dr. Walji has an established dental office in Robbinsdale. He already had good photos on his website. He took a lot of those photos, which is great! Lots of small business owners do this. He got a lot right in those photos. He highlighted his staff and his office location. These are things patients are interested in seeing before they go to a dentist. After talking with Dr. Walji about what kinds of patients he wanted to serve, or how he wanted them to feel after visiting his office some key things popped up. He wanted to teach his patients about their dental health, to be transparent about what his treatments for their dental visits entailed, and to be an approachable, less scary, place.

After visiting his office and meeting his staff, I completely understood. The staff are warm and approachable, they are friendly and professional. I decided he needed photos of him and his staff doing their jobs so curious people could imagine what it was like to visit his office. He agreed. There was a small problem, he only had an hour each day during lunch hours to get this done.

I took on the challenge. We pared down the photos to only essentials. Since he and the staff did not need to have outfit changes (they wear a uniform daily) and none of them wanted to get hair or makeup, we cut off some time here. I also took photos in the office environment while hair and wardrobe team members were prepping the next staff person for their headshot. Basically, we all worked together with no breaks, transitioning from active shots to head shots until it was done. Oh, I also went in a couple times to get photos during slow times in the office. He also had a couple amazing patients who volunteered to help tell the story and model ha ha! A testament to how friendly his office is.
